The Kellogg Student Council participated in the annual delivery of Christmas candy canes to all the students at Christ the King School to foster neighborly relations.
To reciprocate, the Christ the King Student Council delivered cherry Tootsie Pops to all the Kellogg students to celebrate Valentine's Day.
The food drive to benefit the Maple Morgan Park Food Pantry was a tremendous success!! Every class in the school participated in the Student Council-run event. The third grade class donated the most items and was treated to a pizza party. Kellogg School donated 973 food items to the pantry that benefits our neighbors in need.
Way to go Kellogg School, and a special "shout out" to the Student Council members who donated several recess periods to collect, count, and box up all food items.
We had a very successful dress down fundraiser the week of 10/30 - 11/2.
The Student Council created themes for each day (Pretty/Handsome in Pink, Orange/Black/Costume Day, Favorite Decade Day, and Superhero/Villain Day). We raised $749. This money is used for all school events (such as Halloween BINGO, Christmas activities, end of year Field Day). Thanks to all who supported the dress down week.
